E-commerce critic sees KBKids.com typical of online commerce winners
E-commerce consultant, and critic, Michael Drapkin says "old economy" companies will dominate e-commerce. An example could be KB Kids, which has purchased EToys.com's Web address and inventory. Drapkin, author of "Three Clicks Away", says online retail success will come from real businesses which have "fun stuff" like order fulfillment capabilities and financial resources, not pyramid schemes.
